What You’ll Be Doing
As an Early Years Apprentice, you’ll be an important part of our nursery team, learning alongside experienced colleagues while supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing every day.
You will:
Work towards achieving a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
Learn all aspects of the Early Years Practitioner role with support from an experienced mentor.
Support children to learn, play and develop through engaging activities.
Observe children’s learning and contribute to their development records.
Assist with creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing nursery environment.
Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Learn about safeguarding, health and safety, and child development.
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive nursery team.
Develop your confidence, skills and knowledge through structured learning and practical experience.
Demonstrate Kindred’s values in everything you do.
What You’ll Need
Essential:A genuine passion for working with young children.
A commitment to completing an Early Years apprenticeship.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
Desirable:Previous experience with children (although full training will be provided).
A basic understanding of Early Years or childcare.
