What You’ll Be Doing

As an Early Years Practitioner (Nursery Nurse), you’ll play an important role in delivering outstanding care and education while creating a warm, home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy and inspired to learn.

You will:

• Work as part of a supportive team to provide exceptional care and education for every child.

• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn through play.

• Support the Room Leader in delivering the highest standards of Early Years care and education.

• Plan and deliver engaging activities that encourage curiosity, creativity and development.

• Build positive relationships with your Key Children, observing and recording their learning and achievements.

• Support children’s individual learning journeys, celebrating their progress and helping them reach their full potential.

• Communicate effectively with parents and carers through our Satchel app, face-to-face conversations and written observations.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure Kindred’s policies and procedures are consistently followed.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive, welcoming nursery environment.

• Promote safeguarding, health and safety, and children’s wellbeing at all times.
  

• What You’ll Need
  
  Essential:

• A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.

• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• A commitment to ongoing professional development.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
  
  Desirable:
  

• Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.

• Current Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

• Safeguarding and Child Protection training (full training will be provided).

• Current Food Hygiene Certificate.
