At Kindred, our Area Managers lead and support a group of nurseries, ensuring exceptional standards of care, education, compliance, and commercial performance. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader looking to develop their commercial skills, manage P&L performance, and drive business growth while making a meaningful impact on children, families, and colleagues.
Relevant childcare qualification (NNEB, NVQ Level 3, Diploma Level 3 or above)

The successful candidate will support nurseries across the West Midlands region and will be responsible for delivering Kindred's educational, operational, and commercial objectives.
Line manage, coach, support, and performance manage Nursery Managers.
Support managers with safeguarding, child protection, incidents, and complaints.
Ensure compliance with Ofsted, EYFS, safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies.
Drive nursery quality and improvement plans.
Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain high standards.
Support recruitment, induction, and development of nursery teams.
Lead Ofsted preparation and support during inspections.
Monitor training, performance, and professional development across settings.
Ensure children are safeguarded and receive outstanding care and education.
Lead manager meetings and communicate key business updates.
Travel regularly to nurseries and Kindred's Central Support Office in Kettering.
Support Nursery Managers to achieve revenue and cost targets.
Monitor occupancy, staffing levels, and labour costs.
Work closely with Finance, HR, Sales & Marketing, and Property teams.
Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and business planning.
Produce reports and provide operational updates to senior leadership.
Support the integration of new acquisitions and nursery openings.
Lead and contribute to business improvement projects.
Collaborate with fellow Area Managers and wider support teams.
