What You’ll Need

Essential:

• A positive, reliable, and proactive approach to work
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Desirable:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (beneficial but not essential – full training provided)

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and tidy environment throughout the nursery
• Completing daily cleaning checks and recording them on appropriate checklists
• Cleaning and organising indoor and outdoor areas in line with COSHH guidelines
• Managing laundry duties
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and reporting or ordering replacements as needed
• Using appropriate signage for wet floors and cleaning hazards
• Following Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Helping to create a warm, welcoming, and homely environment for children
• Using a friendly and respectful approach with children, parents, carers, and colleagues
