Salary: £7.55 per hour  (£15,824.80 fulltime 40 hour per week equivalent)

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Nursery Apprentice, you will:

• Work towards completing a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification within an agreed timeframe
• Learn all aspects of the Key Person role with the support of a dedicated mentor
• Observe children’s development and support their learning through play
• Carry out practitioner tasks under guidance and supervision
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive nursery team
• Share responsibility for safeguarding children, parents, and colleagues

Safeguarding is a shared responsibility and is central to everything we do at Kindred.

About You

Essential

• A genuine interest in working within Early Years childcare
• Commitment to completing an apprenticeship qualification
• Friendly, approachable, and eager to learn
• Flexible approach to working hours and routines

Desirable

• Previous experience with children (not essential – full training provided)

Our Recruitment Process

• A video interview followed by a face-to-face interview at the nursery
• A fully supervised ‘Stay and Play’ session
• Background checks including References and Enhanced DBS in line with our Safer Recruitment Policy
